Two roads diverged in a wood, and I
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Robert Frost

People like to pretend decisions happen in big, dramatic moments. But most of them don’t. They happen quietly. Almost casually. A turn here, a no instead of a yes, staying when you should have left or leaving when you should have stayed. And once you choose, the other path disappears. Not immediately, but slowly. It becomes something you can no longer return to in the same way.

Frost’s line isn’t about courage in the way people like to think. It’s about consequence. Every choice shapes a version of your life you will never fully see.

You don’t get both roads. You get the one you walk.
